Happy Birthday Lillie Nicole............
Its hard to believe that 6 years ago today my first grand-daughter came into this world. Seems like another whole lifetime. She is my princess #1 and I love her very much. It has been 2 years since I have seen or talked with you. I miss you very much & love you - "as wide as the ocean, as deep as the sea". I miss hearing you run into the room & running to me with your little hands thrown up into the air and saying "MY OMA".......I miss YOU.

Its hard to understand why we have been denied to watch you grow up, but God tells us in Romans 8:28 that "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose." So we will continue to hold on to his promises and one day will be able to see you again. I want to learn whatever the lesson God has for me in this trial. Be it to cherish the time I have with my grandchildren more, my family more, or to cherish each day as it were my last - I want to learn it quickly so we can be re-united once again.

I hope you have a very happy birthday today & will have many more to come. I pray each & every day for you little one - that God will keep you safe & out of harms way. I love you......

Oma

Happy Monday!
Wow, you talk about a fast & encouraging week!

1. Great wonderful revival at Morgan City
2. Was able to go every night!
3. Very encouraged
4. Very blessed
5. Good news on my Princess Emma - only 2 surgeries needed - 1 at 3mo to repair the lip & 1 at 10 mo to fix the pallet! God is good. Still holding on for good things there.
6. God blessed me this week with a finacial blessing.
7. Had my Princess Savannah all weekend - she got a new toothy - can you say "Fussy"?? bless her heart - she was feeling some better today before she went back to her mommy for a few days.
8. Got the crud over the weekend - thats NOT so good, but still have joy down in my heart.
9. Met with O.O. Town family yesterday for lunch - that was good.
10. Have Mt. Washmore waiting at home for me - and the hurricane "life" messed up my house!
11. Have lots to do this week with clean up.

I really did enjoy the revival & it was so good to be there with my girls again. God is good.

So back to the board I go to get some more work done here today before I can go home........

Toodles.

Pictures of Princess Emma
People have been asking me to post more pictures of my Grand-daughter, Emma Grace. So with much pondering & praying I will do so. She was born with a cleft Pallet & a cleft lip. Having no forewarning through ultrasounds and such, it was a shock to our family. We are blessed with having her in our family. She is a beautiful little girl & God has already done much for her. She had breathing problems right after birth so they rushed her to the special care nursery, then on one of her feedings she aspirated & got a little milk in her lungs & they decided to insert an IV in her instead of feeding to make sure that she didn't lose ground & give her little body more time to heal. At first we were told she was missing the full pallet, then it was only half a pallet, and then her peditrician told us that it was only a small strip in the center that was missing. They are concerned about her hearing however. They are saying that she could be missing the whole back part of the pallet that somehow is connected into the ear canals & that is affecting her hearing. We will find out more tomorrow. We are sheduled to have her at the Children's Hospital in Birmingham in the morning to meet with the team of surgeon's that will do the repair work on her. So if you would, please remember her in your prayers. They are telling us it could take many surgeries to repair her, but we serve a heavenly Father who does still work miracles in our day.
This the picture of her & her mommy in the nursery.

And a closer one.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY FLORABETH

Ok, Ok, two posts in one day - what is up with this? Well for starters, we will be out of pocket tomorrow on her birthday, so I wanted to do it a day early for her!

This is my baby girl - hard to believe how time has flown. Don't wanna be mushy on here, but I appreciate her so much. How she has come back to God & is "sweetly" saved. She is such a blessing to me & I thank God daily for her. I love you!

Praise the Lord
Baby Princess Emma is coming home today! And her very first stop will be at Oma's house! I'm so excited.......

Has been a busy busy busy week for me. Glad things are happening though in a good way, so not complaining, its just been a really hard week. With Emma in the hospital and then trying to work everyday, then other issues coming up out of my control - just not been easy. BUT I am YET SAVED &SANCTIFIED, so no complaints. God has been & is good.
Leaving this evening to go to Stearns KY to ride a steam engine train for 3 hours to celebrate my sister Kathyrn's 50th birthday. She was 50 last year, but we didn't do anything at that time as she wasn't quite sure what she wanted to do & then life happens & it is put off. We will be spending the night somewhere between Chattanooga & KY line somewhere. Should be interesting - am looking forward to it.

Princess Savannah will be going with us - so I will make sure to take plenty of pictures so that I can scrapbook it.

Praise the Lord - God is Good.

Just heard from Niki – got to the hospital this morning & they had already taken out the IV!!!!
She is nursing really well this morning for the first time & is latching on really well. In fact the nurses & lactating nurse think that she will do fine as is on the br*east so, we are thankful for that! She is a little jaundice this morning, so they have her in cool shades all sprawled out on the little bed with the lite on her – she could easily become a little beach bum!
Thank you everyone for your prayers! God is so good to us.

Happy Wednesday
Stress & upset - we all deal with it differently. If you have NO stress or are never upset, then you are truly blessed. However, living in our world today I have yet to find someone that has not had both or at least on of them in thier life time.

Stress according to Webster's II New Riverside Dictionary, is Mental, Emotional, or physical tension, strain or distress.

Some people go into a depression, some excercise, some sleep, some shut down & others become unrealistic. I clean in a frenzy when I get upset or am stressed about something.

Now, my house is all clean! :-)

How do YOU deal with it??

We made it home!
Praise the good Lord for a WONDERFUL BLESSED CAMPMEETING!!
We just got home this evening around 8 or so and am glad to be able to report we had a wonderful meeting. God blessed us so much. Then we went to Asheville NC for Saturday Afternoon & spent time with Sis Lisa & Bro Shae who were so sweet and kind to open thier home for us (big hearty thank you) and then we were able to join the Saints at Asheville for Sunday morning services. God is so good, God is so good, God is so good, He's so good to me......
I love being saved, I love being a child of God who redeemed me from my sins & gives me power minute by minute & nano second by nano second to say NO to wrong (sin) praise God.
My cup runneth over! Tired now, so I best git and unpack and hit the bed! Toodles.
