HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAVANNAH
Yesterday was Savannah's 2nd Birthday! She was so adorable opening her gifts.
I took a video of her this year & as I was showing someone at church this morning - a little fellow was missing from his family's car. As the dad came in to 'fetch' him - we proceeded to tell him, "I wanna watch the video" his dad told him 'oh, she will put it on YOU TUBE, then you can see it." So with a bit of encouragement I uploaded it this afternoon & thought why not 'share' it with you all. I just hope I did it right. Enjoy.

My mom, 'Grandma' gave her some cute little 'dress up shoes' - she is a 'shoe' person, always wearing someones shoes - doesn't matter whose they are or how big - she gets the flip flops exactly in the right toes too! I found her a cute set of cookware - complete with all the right 'tools' to go withe them - and they are metal - shined to look like stainless steel - the little stock pot - frying pays, small pots and all - she is a great 'cooker' too! Viki found a little kitchen set a while back after cleaning it up we put it in our craft room - so while do whatever we do in the craft room - she is always cooking for us. As I was uploading the video - she made a pot of 'noolnols' for me! Interpreted, that means "NOODLES" - too too cute. So here is a video of her and Caleb cooking in her kitchen with her new dishes.

She loves her 'birthday cake' - which means her birthday day.

(I couldn't get the last video to work - so I posted the link instead. I think I got too anxious & didn't wait for it to process :(

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LILLIE NICOLE
My first grand-daughter was born 7 years ago today. I miss her smiling face & funny expressions. She could always make you laugh - had nicknames for most people. She knew my name was "OMA" but she delighted in calling me "ELMO" and would giggle every time she said it. Uncle Peter was known as "Cletus" - her personal knickname was "FRED" - complimants from Nene. Its been 3 years since the last time I got to hug her, see, her & talk with her. But I have confidence that God is going to bring her back 'home' just like He did for her brother, Caleb. Life isn't always fair, and people don't always play by the rules, but God has given our family grace and has helped us so much concerning this matter for the past 3 years. God never fails.
Lillie, if by chance you read this some day (and I trust you will) know that I love you with all my heart, have NEVER given up on you & I look forward to hearing you call me "Elmo" again.

Happy Birthday sweetheart.

Happy belated birthday
to my Sweet Florabeth. She has given her time & talents this past weekend unselfishly. A very talented professional photographer - she took the wedding photographs with the assistance of Tammy G from MC. Did a great job.
I can't believe my baby girl is 26 years old (young) already! My, how time does fly!

Due to the wedding and all being the day BEFORE her birthday, she was sorta left out. However, we enjoyed a nice lunch with family at O'Charley's on Sunday. And then next Sunday we will have the requested 'birthday' lunch at home with the newly married couple.

Happy birthday sweetheart! I love you.

Serious updation here
Well, now that I have a few minutes I will try to let you all know what I have been up to.

The wedding was beautiful - gorgeous - fabulous. My precious daughter made the statement she felt like she was in a fairy tale come true all day - so our mission was accomplished! She is only one of my princesses - but it was HER day to shine! Thank you to ALL who attended this blessed event - thank you to ALL who helped with the decorating, rehearsal dinner, reception, running errands, the clean up afterwards and with all the help we had finishing up the leftovers!

We invited the Saints at Westlawn over after Sunday evening's service to help us eat the cake & Punch! Here are a few pictures - don't have them all collected yet but will share as I get them.

These are the dresses we made - with the left over scraps of the bridemaid's dresses - I was able to create 2 adorable little dresses for granddaughters, Savannah & Emma. Sorry, they wouldn't hold still long enough to get a picture of them together.

I also want to thank the family that took time out of thier busy schedules to enjoy the day with us. After pictures & the send off - we joined the family at Barnhills for lunch & were able to visit more with them. It was a great day. Ruth from PA was the one that drove the longest distance to be with us. Thank you Ruth & girls for making that extra effort - wish we could have had more time with you & the girls. Thank you Karen, Justin, & Jeremy for coming over. And thank you to all the local Alabamians for coming too!

Prayer Request
I don't know why I didn't post about this earlier - could it be that I had other things on my mind - yeah, that is why.
This little boy is the son of one of my 'guys' at work. God has certainly brought little Matthew a long ways - the Dr's don't know why he is still with us, but I know why he is. We serve a Father who still performs miracles & and answers our prayers. I know the saints at Westlawn have been praying for him - I just failed to ask others to pray for him, so now I'm asking. Jim (the dad) just set up this website so that you can get updates on him if you care too. You will have to sign up with the website initially, but then you can see his progress. Please take time to visit the website. Thanks.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMMA GRACE

I can't believe its been a year since you were born! Time sure does fly!

You enjoyed your cake, but didn't 'dig' into it like we had hoped. I think you have a bit of your momma in you - she didn't dig in hers either - she didn't want to get her hands messy.

We celebrated your party on Sunday so your brother Caleb could be here with you!
Happy Birthday sweet Emma Grace! We love you.
